Company Profile:

Over the past 40 years MCT ReMan Ltd has primarily been involved in the remanufacturing of automotive driveline products and throughout this time has built a strong reputation for responsiveness, product quality and ability to manage product life cycle requirements. We are now very actively involved in the assembly of new powertrain systems and design for manufacture partnership. Using our extensive skill base and product knowledge we provide our customers with a complete package to a specifically tailored programme.

What had been initially established as a centre of excellence for 'remanufacturing', has ultimately developed into a proven partner for manufacturing, remanufacturing and turnkey component sourcing for the world leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the automotive industry.

Our customers include Ford, Volvo, Jaguar Land Rover & General Motors.

The company is now privately owned businesses following a management buyout in 2009. Our annual turnover is £6.5m & we employ 65 people.

We are a service provider and within the field of our expertise we recognise the need to expand as the remanufacturing industry we serve, although remains stable, shows little evidence of growth because the quality of products we remanufacture has greatly increased over the years from the OEM’s.

Our current strategy is to use the skills we have within our business to offer contract assembly & supply chain management to developing entrepreneurial engineering enterprises that have a need for support to their core competences of design, development and marketing to enable them to be more effective and efficient to meet their own market goals.

We are now working with a customer in the Electric and Hybrid industry, which has seen us increase our sales out, put by an additional one hundred thousand pounds in the first year. The business is also enjoying successes with projects funded by Innovate UK and we have aspirations that the outcome of one of these projects, where we are helping a customer productionise an energy harvesting transmission will see us double our current seven million turnover within the next two to three years.

We have a very experienced work force which delivers beyond our customers’ expectations supported by our business systems and quality accreditations, TS16949:2009 and ISO14001 we are in a fantastic position to grow our business and provide more employment in the engineering sector which in general has suffered in the last few years as investments and government support has been lacking.
