Cynpapsys is a part of multiple clusters in African and European sides. According the present call, we want to benefit from our strong relationship with Elghazala Technoparc, which is positioned as a leading provider of ICT in Tunisia and Africa. Moreover, we refer to our subsidiary installed over Tunisia to deploy the use case described below.
The AIT project aims to realize an autonomous inspect of Technoparc for the surveillance of companies and universities. Regular inspection of the park entrances and exits should be done to detect intrusion attempts and proactively identify potential threats. It’s also necessary to closely monitor the entrances of individual small and medium-sized businesses.
To detect those kind of issues, security staff are involved on the SMEs side and the park entrances. Moreover, cameras are strategically placed to cover the main access points and areas of higher security risks.
To deploy those preventive measures on Technoparc, located over a site of 65 hectares, labor intensive activity is needed, especially inspection of such a vast built up is considered as an often long and tedious activity.
Last years, the frequency of inspection has increased either from staff security or local authorities. Autonomous regular checkups of intrusion could be helpful for the Technoparc staff to be more proactive and remotely monitor unauthorized access.
To reach a good inspection on 65 Hectares space and on huge built up, a robotic solution is required to supervise autonomously Technoparc, so that images would be taken 7days a week and 24 hours a day.
Under those required needs, the key assumptions is using a drone solution with a sufficient number of cameras able to provide accurately 3D techno park view. Each period, many way points must be followed by UAV, flight time represents another key to tackle.
Multitude of inspection need to be addressed such as fire, intrusion, threats detection, therefore, possibility that UAV system handle multi sensors and interact with user board would assure obviously Technoparc security.
The Autonomous Inspect of Technoparc project to be deployed would be an identifier damages caused either by threats or intrusions or weather conditions (violent winds, continuous rain....).
The main feature of the UAV solution is intended to assure a preventive inspection within Technoparc, so we expect that AIT project reduce recovery times in the event of breakdown to address security issues.
Using AIT project will saves time and resources in a quality improvement and cost reduction effort done for the inspection and surveillance.
