STAM (www.stamtech.com) is a private engineering SME, based in Genoa, Italy. The main mission of the company is to provide engineering services to industries. Stam has wide experience in the automation of industrial production processes, based on robotic systems. The company has developed a wide range of highly automated industrial plants for several industrial companies. Experience of the company includes: fully integrated robotized automation, stacking and destacking systems, conveyors, quality and dimensional tests, assembly lines using robots, automation of systems tests, automation of laser welding systems.
Stam is involved in the research, development, manufacturing and testing of innovative robotic solutions for grasping and high precision 3D operations applied to industrial applications.
STAM is supplier of the European Space Agency within the Technology Transfer Programme and has experience in working on European Commission projects. Since 2010 Stam has been developing robotic and automation systems for the production of electric motors (winding, stator and rotor stacks, assembly of bearings and shafts, etc.), thanks to important collaborations with key players in the field, such as: Dema Sassi S.r.l., Phase Motion Control and ICPE.
As a Team member of ITRXcell, STAM will mainly contribute to FLEXICOIL by developing the robotic cell layout, the hardware of the wire deployment system, tension sensor and pick&place gripper. Finally, STAM will support system integration and demonstration.
