The European manufacturing industry needs competitive solutions that address real industrial needs to keep global leadership in products and services. For developing these solutions, innovative technologies have to be transferred from research labs to industrial end users.
Therefore, the EuRoC is looking for manufacturing companies to provide challenging use cases in the production environment for 3 different challenge contexts:
In particular, use cases are sought where challenging aspects currently precluding the company from adopting robotic solutions are of concern. Within the EuRoC project, these companies —in the remainder named end users— will work on the solution of the use cases together with research experts, technology developers and system integrators.
This call for end users is related to the EU-funded Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) project EuRoC (European Robotic Challenges, Grant Agreement Number 608849):
- Date of publication: 1 April 2014
