EXHAUSS is, as for now, a brand of L’AIGLE Co. Ltd., founded in 2003 by Pierre DAVEZAC. L’AIGLE is the only French manufacturer of Camera stabilizers. L'AIGLE offers a complete range of stabilizing systems, designed for any camera weighing from a few hundred grams up to 27 kilos (60lbs). Since 2013, EXHAUSS develops and produces the first functional exoskeletons to assist the worker's efforts to lift his tools or loads. EXHAUSS won 4 innovation awards in spring 2014.
Pierre DAVEZAC directed the research and development program that lead to the first functional four models of exoskeletons, which are now in use, especially in civil engineering.
The development program now focuses on two main axis : lighten the exoskeletons to a maximum weight of 5kg, and adding mechatronical functions to make the use of the model W (for WORKER) more comfortable for the largest possible spectrum of working environments and configurations (logistics, for instance)
Pierre DAVEZAC studied architecture and successfully lead his company for 11 years. He owns many patents for both activities, L’AIGLE for cameras stabilizers, and EXHAUSS for the exoskeletons range of products.
Thanks to his 11-years experience, patents and to his realistic and pragmatical approach, his enterprise EXHAUSS is "the most mature one, among exoskeletons research programs in 2014, and nearest to be ready for the market", say representatives of AIRBUS industries.
Once the passive models will be motorized or mechatronized, EXHAUSS could very well become the first manufacturer of "today's" mass-market functional exoskeletons and a world leader on this nascent but most certainly in future prosperous industry.
