Prof. Enrico Pagello received a "Laurea in Ingegneria Elettronica" at the University of Padova in 1972. He is currently a Full Professor of Computer Science since 2002, at the Department of Information Engineering. During 77-78, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Lab. of A. I. of Stanford University. He is a Fellow of the University of Tokyo. He has been a President of the Intelligent Autonomous Society, and a Vice-President of the RoboCup Int. Federation. His research interests are on applying Artificial Intelligence to Robotics. He is a co-founder of IT+Robotics Srl.
Stefano Tonello received his Master degree in Computer Eng. from the University Of Padua. He collaborated in several autonomous robot projects with IAS-Lab (Intelligent and Autonomous System Laboratory of University of Padua). He is CEO of ITR and he leads the development of IT+Robotics products Workcell Simulator,ViDeE, and the vision guided robot bin picking application called SmartPick3D.
Nicolò Boscolo received his Master degree in Computer Eng. from the University of Padua in 2012. He developed a multi-robot collision avoidance system that led to a publication presented at IAS-12 conference. Currently, he is a PhD student in the IAS-Lab, and he also started working at IT+Robotics, where he is involved in the development of an industrial robot simulator and embedded systems in the automation field.
Matteo Finotto received his Master degree in from the University of Padua in 2009. Since 2011, he is working at IT+Robotics. He is currently involved in the development of the industrial robot simulator (Workcell Simulator) and of different visual inspection systems.
Roberto Bortoletto received his Master degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Padua, where he is now a PhD Candidate at the Graduate School on Information Engineering.
Stefano Michieletto has a PhD in Computer Engineering applied to Robotics and is now a Post-Doc at IAS-Lab of University of Padua
IT+Robotics Srl (http://www.it-robotics.it) was created in 2005 as a Spin-off company of the University of Padua by professors working in the field of robotics and Young researchers from the Information Engineering Dept. of the University of Padua.
Its mission is the technology transfer from the academic research on the intelligent autonomous systems to the service engineering applications. IT+Robotics is now an SME with Euro 500.000 turnover and 10 co-workers. IT+Robotics’ key expertise is in the fields of robot and environment 3D simulation, robot planning and manipulation, artificial vision systems, real-time operating systems.
IT+Robotics participated to three international research projects involved as expert in robotics motion planning and vision:
The Intelligent Robotics group at the IAS-Lab (http://robotics.dei.unipd.it ) of the Dept of Information Engineering has a long-term experience in mobile robotics, real-time robot vision algorithms, humanoids development, robot simulators, programming languages and environments, biomechanical model based on human biosignal.
