Team Profile:
First ROS team of Kosice is young and small team composed of two PhD students from the group of prof. Daniela Perdukova. Our experience in robotics development and design was up to now gained mostly by participation in student projects, which resulted in several awards in various robot competitions (e.g. Robot challenge). Currently we are looking for more advanced challenges allowing us to combine our knowledge with recent development in the field of computer vision,UAV control and Robot operating system. We maybe haven’t published dozens of scientific articles in the field but we will try to compensate this drawback by true diligence and developing enthusiasm.
Prof. Daniela Perdukova - the head of Department of Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics, is an experienced researcher in the field of nonlinear system control.
Jan Bacik is a PhD student at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics. He is focused on research in unmanned rotorcraft systems, including avionic systems, data fusion and aerodynamics.
Frantisek Durovsky is a PhD student at the Department of Production Systems and Robotics currently focusing on computer vision and visual servoing applications.
