The team combines years of experience in various fields needed to solve the challenge objectives. Mr. Gunnarsson has participated in many robotics competitions and has experience in solving robotics problems like robot localization and navigation as well as sensing, computer vision tasks and sensor fusion. Mr. Kaufmann is an Associate Professor at TU-Wien and has vast experience in dealing with systems that require real-time processing, such as Real-time ray-tracing for AR and mobile AR and VR. Ms. Mossel is a research assistant at TU-Wien with experience in Mono and Depth SLAM as well as building and programming a quadrotor UAV from scratch which used a smartphone as a computing platform and navigated via visual markers.
